garden/garden is a demonstration landscape project of the City of Santa Monica and the Metropolitan Water District at Santa Monica College, compares two landscape strategies, sustainable vs. traditional "mow and blow," side-by-side. garden/garden is located at 1724 & 1718 Pearl St., Santa Monica, CA 90405, this links to a Google map for your convenience. The field trip is from 9 to 12. Do go to the website and look at some of the comparisons. If we get done early, perhaps we can get a cup of coffee together nearby and look over some of the data available from their website.
