From Katarina Erikson, our hostess for this Sunday's field trip, we learn that "the LA Marathon is running on Wilshire making the only access from Constitution off Sepulvada. I will have blue "Plant Sale" signs and arrows, so the class should look for the signs and follow them to the Garden/Nursery. Also give extra time since there will be heavy traffic."
In the map above, the nursery is just above the Jackie Robinson Stadium (the red 'A' balloon). If you have to come in from below Wilshire, and it is blocked for runners, use the freeway! Take 405 north to the exit above Wilshire and come back south. You all have my cell phone number, I'll help you get to the site.
Just to add to the mix, I see rain is predicted for Sunday. Bundle up and wear your booties and I'll see you there!
